Buying equipment
How do I find out the price of a machine?
Most equipment is priced on request. Open the listing and use "Show price information", or contact us with the stock number (SKU) shown on the listing. We reply within one business day.
Can I get more photos, documents or technical details?
Yes. Send us the stock number and tell us what you need — extra photos, nameplate data, manuals, drawings or qualification documents — and we will send what is available for that machine.
What condition is the equipment in?
Each listing shows a condition and a description of the machine as we have it. Used equipment varies, so ask us about anything that matters for your application before you buy.
Can you arrange transport?
Prices do not include transport. We can arrange crating and shipping through our logistics partners on request; ask for a delivery quote with your location.
How do I choose the right used machine?
Our buying guides explain what to check for tablet presses, capsule fillers, reactors, freeze dryers and other equipment types, and which documents to ask for.
Selling equipment
How can I sell my surplus equipment?
We offer outright purchase, consignment sales, online auctions and complete liquidations. List your equipment through our Sell page or contact us, and we will advise which route fits.
What information do you need to make an offer?
The manufacturer, model and serial number, photos including the nameplate, the current condition, and what products the equipment processed. Tell us if it handled hazardous substances such as beta-lactams or hormones.
Can you value my equipment?
Yes. We value used process equipment for sale, insurance, financing and tax purposes. Request a quote through our valuations page.
Do you handle complete plant or site closures?
Yes. Our decommissioning service covers the inventory, valuation, sale or auction of the equipment, and its removal from site.
Auctions
Who can bid in an FEC auction?
Our auctions are for business buyers. To register you need a company name, a VAT or tax number and the country where your company is established; EU VAT numbers are checked against the EU VIES register.
What does it cost to buy at an auction?
Each auction page shows its buyer's premium and any administration fee. They are charged on top of the hammer price, and VAT is applied according to the rules for your country.
How do I pay for lots I have won?
You receive one invoice per auction with a secure payment link. You can pay by bank transfer, iDEAL or Bancontact, or by card with a surcharge shown at checkout; large amounts are paid by bank transfer.
