Freeze dryers are commonly used in various industries, including pharmaceuticals, food processing, and preservation of biological samples. They are particularly useful for preserving heat-sensitive substances, as the low temperatures used in the process help maintain the integrity of the material. The resulting freeze-dried products have a longer shelf life, retain their original properties, and can be easily rehydrated when needed.
